The Outpost does not try to be something which it is not – our accommodation is rustic, with an emphasis on clean and comfortable lodging, but with a special ambience of its own. We, too, are committed to being as environmentally-friendly as possible - our water is mostly heated with solar power; we use energy savers wherever possible – to name just a few of our efforts. However, fear not, as the showers are still extremely hot; the cuisine remains ‘good home cooking’ and the company is always great!

An open plan dining/lounge area leads into spacious grounds and tropical garden. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served from this area, and a comprehensive snack menu is available.
Most shuttle bus companies will drop you at our door if requested. A nearby taxi rank ensures taxi availability almost around the clock. Reception staff are at hand to assist you with any transport arrangements you many require. A few doors up the street is a conveniently located bank, and our ‘Nik Nak’ shop is stocked with essentials, souvenirs and curios. We have wireless internet access from our grounds for those with their own laptops, as well as internet facilities on site – to keep you in touch with your business and loved ones – a favorite hotspot is, of course, beside the pool! For your convenience there is a public card phone with cards available from Reception. Laundry services are available. Our mini gym for use by Outpost residents is a great addition for the not-so-lazy! |
